Well it looks like she's well and truly fried. Before I pulled out the connector I had hit the firing stud...well I think the wires were touching and there is a strong ozone smell from the PCB.....anybody got an infinity for sale?
The wires actually came off the connector not the PCB, so soldering them to a new connector was a breeze. I'll give him a PM maybe he can repair it for less than the cost of a new one.
That's exactly why I don't have to do them. I was listed as subcontract, but after getting a hose or 2 form my uncla sam I was put on payroll. I'm there more than the management anyway.
Never bothered with the estimated taxes. I have my job take NJ state taxes out, which are higher than PA, so I get 100% refunded form NJ and only have to pay about 40% of that to PA even with the penalties.
OK so somehow the 510 connector came loose on the infinity I bought from the classifieds and when I thought I was unscrewing my carto i was turning the whole shebang which snapped the wires off of the connector. I went and bought a new connector, soldered the wires onto it and....nothing....not...
YAY!!!! Lawsuit...that's my favorite kind of suit. Oh and YAY because mt Darth Vader Chuck Showed up on the Newborns pics. And YAY because I finally got my UFS. BOO because I broke my infinity and don't know how to fix it. I'm done now...I really need coffee...
He's you're replacement. He agreed to work ten times harder than you with four times the pressure and at one sixth your pay rate...welcome to corporate America.
