I can't say anything in regards to the technical specs of the batteries or the attys, but I have a LR atty from madvapes and gray UltraFire 14500s, I received my Puffer on April 30th and have had no problems at all. I use it heavily all day every day and would definitely notice if it cut out...- goochkc

I gather that cloudsofvapor.com is going to have some IMR 14500 high drain batteries available by the end of the week. I gather he is selling them for $8, but I think they are the only lithium manganese oxide chemistry 14500 batteries anywhere.- goochkc

When I got my MP1 I immediately noticed that it had very little epoxy holding the atty connector on. And while I have since read that MrPuff recommends a food safe glue like Gorilla Glue, I put a bunch of very cheap 2 part clear epoxy (I'm sure it's not food safe) on it. I think weather or not you use filler material and weather or not you use a LR atty is totally personal preference based. I seem to end up with my atty flooded 100% of the time without filler and the fluid tastes way burnt (no matter what fluid I try) with the LR atty I got from madvapes. Go figure.- goochkc

If I recall correctly, mine came 1st class in one of those bubble wrap padded type manila envelopes with the actual unit also wrapped in bubble wrap. Of course I had the envelope shredded within moments of receiving it.- goochkc
