The amount of info on ECF never ceases to impress me. For every problem I have or could have someone has already posted a solution and if I haven't seen it somebody will gladly point me to it. :)
I can't say anything in regards to the technical specs of the batteries or the attys, but I have a LR atty from madvapes and gray UltraFire 14500s, I received my Puffer on April 30th and have had no problems at all. I use it heavily all day every day and would definitely notice if it cut out...
I gather that cloudsofvapor.com is going to have some IMR 14500 high drain batteries available by the end of the week. I gather he is selling them for $8, but I think they are the only lithium manganese oxide chemistry 14500 batteries anywhere.
When I got my MP1 I immediately noticed that it had very little epoxy holding the atty connector on. And while I have since read that MrPuff recommends a food safe glue like Gorilla Glue, I put a bunch of very cheap 2 part clear epoxy (I'm sure it's not food safe) on it. I didn't mean to use...
Wow, I'm suprised that I don't hear a bunch of talk from everybody that placed an order today. I went ahead and ordered my 2nd MrPuffer - this time a TougherPuffer. Seemed worth the extra $5. I've used the heck out of the one I've already got and think it's wise to get a second one to give it a...
1st class worked perfect for getting mine to me.
The pending arrival of a little one can mess with schedules and it only gets better after the arrival. :)
DIY kits are an awesome idea!
I'm all over that!
I think weather or not you use filler material and weather or not you use a LR atty is totally personal preference based. I seem to end up with my atty flooded 100% of the time without filler and the fluid tastes way burnt (no matter what fluid I try) with the LR atty I got from madvapes. Go figure.
If I recall correctly, mine came 1st class in one of those bubble wrap padded type manila envelopes with the actual unit also wrapped in bubble wrap. Of course I had the envelope shredded within moments of receiving it.
Let us know if you find anything. I have no doubt that someone can figure out where to go, but I think the tubing looks small enough that it might be hard to find. I have never bought, seen, or even looked for tubing before so I'm no authority.
cloudsofvapor.com sells 2 products called Stomp Boxes the 3.7 volt version is $30 and the 5 volt version is $45. They have the nicest button on a box mod I've seen so far.
I know exactly how you feel. I was diagnosed with asthma several years ago and since I started vaping and stopped smoking analogs all the symptoms have completely disappeared.
