Jeez it's pretty much the norm with china vendors. Collecting our money then going out and buying the items we ordered then shipping. Which means 2-3 weeks before they ship. Then it's going to take another 2 weeks in shipping time. I had hoped 3f was going to be better than that. I am having...
Makes logical sense...
It does not give me error message till about an hour after vaping on it. Then it is constant. It's not a deal breaker for me it works just fine with error message. And with screen on the bottom I can't see error message anyways...I have to be looking in a mirror when...
xvosticks claim leak proof.
Are they talking about just the 510 pin or also the area around the adjustable deck?
When I get a free moment going to take the top half off and see how its setup under the deck. Watching the numerous videos it seems easy enough. Unscrew the 510 deck take bottom 3...
Ft's does not say anything about tc and 3f's does have tc
Ft's does not have xvostick printed under the graphic on the mod... 3f's does have xvostick printed under graphic
Just a guess... they are not the same
Yes thanks I have read those instructions and have been using those. Nothing is written in their about temp off. There is a temp off setting for this chip in 3f's xvostick style mods. Might need to be the setting needed for running 3f's mods in power mode
Try this.... click fire button 5 times...hold up and down buttons together....adjust temp to off.....click 5 times again to unlock....then hold up and down buttons to lock again.
So far its staying in power mode
A couple of good things about my xvosticks style I have not mentioned
The botton screen protector is a hard not flexible piece of glass or plastic
I took bottom 3 screws off and then loosened the 2 center chrome or stainless screws and adjusted the 2 seperate parts so they fit together perfect now
I did not bother resetting mine last time. I have been vaping the last 5 hours with a 1.2 kanthal build at 25 watts. The screen does show temp that I have set at 520 and error message ohms too high pops up.
It's vaping just fine so not going to bother to reset it
That's pretty much what mine do. I have to get by about 3 seconds of vape time for the error message to pop up. Does not seem to effect the vape at all. So not going to worry too much about as I don't look at screen when vaping
I have been using evolve dna40 instructions.... seem the same...
What ohms are you running at? Mine wants to stay in temp mode running a 1.2 ohm kanthal. It vapes just fine but does show error message " Ohms is too high". Not too concerned about it as it vapes just fine in power mode with error code
A glitch when switching from a tc setup to a power setup. Notice still in temp mode and error message is ohms too high. Still vaped fine and if I did not look in mirror I would not have known it. Just took battery cap off to reset and locked atty again. All is good again
