    Does the "why" really matter? If all the money-trail and conspiracy talk is accurate, we have no control anyway. Better to just think the best and try to work within the system to get what we want. Unless someone here has a couple billion stashed away to start their own lobbying firm?

    This particular problem has nothing to do with elections or "the land of the free". You are dealing with a private corporation who has the freedom to do business with whomever it pleases. Bandying about ideas about attacks on your freedom are counterproductive.
