I would like to know if there's any meetings held locally in WNY. I live just outside Buffalo and have been very busy, so driving to Albany for a meeting probably isn't going to happen. -

I vape HV, tried a HV atty and didn't like it. LR attys from Nhaler are great though, I can actually tolerate 3.7 again lol- Krythis

Can protected cr2's be used in series?
I've made several 5-6v mods using nothing but CR2s. They're the only batteries I've used in mods, but I will need to get some 14500 soon. I use LifePO4 and haven't had any issues with them exploding, but I have had one or two rapid discharge and get very hot. Which is what they are supposed to...- Krythis

Are you saying you have a hand in the development? I think what I have is an improvement since there's a dedicated negative wire...makes sense. I had issues with the connection on my Fog Log mod because the adapter was pressed in w/o a negative wire and juice slowly started finding its way... -

jazzguy, in image #3 and #5 it looks like you are missing the white/semi-transparent threads that the coil wraps around. That's what's laying on the paper in my images. Did you remove that as part of your dissection? -

This is my dead LR atty where I removed the bridge and mesh. Before taking the pix I did tear apart the coil because it was already broken. That inner cylinder is not attached to the wall so that is why it moves around so easy. I tend to break things when I try to take attys apart with old... -
