I dont think you understand what your meter is telling you. Anything below 1 ohm it drops the decimal and gives you 3 digets. That 270 you got is 0.27 ohms. I hope you are using atleast a 30 amp battery.
You need to brush up on ohms law and battery safety and fully understand all the equipment...
I would suggest you start out with 26 or 28 guage. Make sure what ever you build stays within your batterys continuous discharge rate. Try your first coils wrapped on a 2mm to 2.5 mm drill bit to about 1 ohm and see how you like it.
Please excuse my Engish I only speak English.:D
A lot of times when a major retailer pull the product from their store shelves it can be for something as small as a slightly miss worded label. let's not get paranoid and think they're out to get vapers because they don't have cotton balls.
Yup crank your voltsand use high vg will get it as good as your gonna get it with that mod. When you get somthing with mre power build that plume between 4 to6 ohms and you will love it.
Just the right amount of heat not more heat. The problem is everybody likes somthing different. And everybody is right. So you just gotta play around a bit. Ther is no shortcut or quick fix.
Like plink said your winder wont power that atty. You need to get yourself a mech or higer watt device. Make sure you read up on ohms law and battery safety before making your purchase. The helios is not the greatest atty but I still use mine for tasting my diy juice. With the right mod you will...
does any body know how the continuous discharge rating is determined? When ever I see graphs it is always showing Mah. Personaly I am always more concerned with safety than longevity.
there has got to be a better way of verifying than sticking it in a mech and seeing if it heats up.
