    Need help going to RBA'S

Hey Codemonkey. The AGA-T is not a bottom feeder, so you won't get the benefit of the Reo's feed system. I gave up on the tank styles, every one I tried leaked and/or didn't wick well. I haven't tried this model though...

    Need help going to RBA'S

Good luck finding a Chalice. If you find one, it's mine. I lost it, so please return. Thanks. Seriously, the maker told me a few days ago it would be 3 or 4 months before they make another batch. So I'm out on those. If you have a Grand then you could use the ERA or Hornet. I just ordered my...

Uh Oh. Ordered a trippy tip and it turns out they are less than 5 miles from my house. This could get expensive! Now when does that Serenity guy open back up for customizations...?

    How about some music........

The Dead put me through college. I had a friend whose mom worked for the equivalent of TicketMaster at the time. She'd let use know when they had booked something at Red Rocks (I live about four miles away) and we'd scrape up all the cash we could (scalping tickets is still legal here) and buy...

New reonaut, help tuning my vape

Hello fellow CO'r. When you first taste that burned taste, that's the time to give a squonk. Start off small. Don't pump. Practice makes perfect... If an atty retains a burned taste after that - clean it, don't pitch it (vodka, an ultrasonic cleaner, etc) there are lots of threads on cleaning...

Share your wick and coil setups for your Reo!

Anything less than 1.5ohm is also too much for me. Even that about blows my throat out. I built my first cotton ball wicks tonight. Me likes. I hope they last a little while. Which gets me thinking to the next level. Dryer lint! Might be hard to pull it through the coil though...

That is one sharp looking Reo! Do these sleeves effect how the Reo stands upright? I don't want mine to get wobbly.

Pros. And Cons...Convince me or Not

Yes. You're a provari user. I'm a darwin/buzz user. Mechanical is mechanical. My darwin, old buzz and other mods sit in a drawer. Nice to have them, but I only try them to see if they still work. The Darwin's battery life amazes me. But I work in IT and I'm so sick of digital crap flaking...

Thanks so much for your response. There are so many RBA threads I can't keep up w/ them, much less find them at a later date. I've read some of your earlier posts about torching the coil before winding. So I'll continue to make sure I do that. Now I gotta figure out how to pull a cotton ball...

The REO Lounge - Part II

I can see where this would get risky. I'd be hesitant myself. But I have it sitting around and would like to see some of it put to a good use. I've got a really nice collection of woods. I was never a big fan of Koa, for turning, but it is a very pretty wood (in my best Karen voice).

The REO Lounge - Part II

If you guys are wanting Rob to make some woodvilles w/ Koa I have a bunch of blocks of it. I had an acquaintance in WA state who worked with a mill and he scored a bunch of it (had some plantation that needed it cleared). I used to do woodturning but my lathe has sat unpowered for the last five...

By the squished coil method - do you mean squishing the coils together, like compressing a spring? And I still don't comprehend how you feed cotton ball wicks thru your coils. I've been using a size 3 machine screw, wrapping the wire, and then feeding wicking material (cotton and bamboo...

REO Family Photos & Storage Ideas III

I bought one of the Carson models. Mine is called a "MagniFly". I bought it primarily because it would hook onto my flytying vise. And a good thing as the mounting bracket is a 1/16th of an inch too small to slide on the edge of my desk :( It has a 2x lens w/ a 3.5x spot lense. The 2x is OK, I...
