Question for my upcoming first build. I see a mix of people saying they just kind of tuck the wicks down after putting the base of the chimney on (like pbusardo did in his video) and then i see people that wet & position them before putting the chimney on (like the manual says and i think rip...
100% see what you mean. The V1 has lines something like the squape has on its tank cover aka you can see where the cutting tool cut them out. Cool, something to look for when I get my russian.
I have some more questions. Does anyone know if the russian is made in china or is it made in germany...
So basically if you can see machining lines its a V1? Anyone else able to do this to tell the difference? Is the general consensus the first version was better or the second?
I will be getting my first russian 91% (first kayfun of any kind) this week hopefully. Are there any tips or tricks I...
Is there any way to tell what version of the Russian you have?
Also, if I wanted to get a clone for backup does anyone have an opinion on which is best? Ehpro vs tobeco vs hcigar vs ?
Yeh, I know how to dry burn, like the act of dry burning. I was thinking that maybe I need to flush my wick with water or something. If I try to just empty the tank and even if I dry the wick out the best I can, I am setting there with it vaping away for a really long time. I gave up last time...
Let me tell you, I struggled with this to NO end when I first got into RBA''s and SS wicks. What ultimately fixed it (without changing my juice) was using 100mm+ of SS mesh. I bored the wick holes out on my AGA's to 3.5mm and stuffed a TON of wick in there. It is the only way I can use my thick...
I am using 100mm of SS mesh and it holds a LOT of residual juice in the wick. It is also really hard to get every last drop of juice out of the tank.
So I am curious, how do you go about dry burning your wick without having to take anything apart and wrap a new coil?
Sorry if this has already been covered, but has anyone heard about trying out a brass screw in these? I have heard that some are trying to get brass screws to help out with voltage drop. Anyone tried it and noticed a difference?
Since this is linked in a few places I just thought I would add that hemoglobin A1C gives you a measurement of your average blood glucose over the past TWO TO THREE MONTHS. This post has nothing to do with vaping and its effects on diabetes, even though we might like for it to. I hope people...
Wow racehorse that is crazy! Just today I heard of another member having their card being used fraudulently. It has been tracked back to the alice in vapeland's website. I hope places start to crack down on this stuff, it seems like everywhere is having issues! Off to check my card now.
That wick hole is drilled out to 4mm. I drilled mine out to 3.5mm and you can easily fit 100mm of wick (100mm is the length of SS rolled up to make the "girth" of the wick where as your wick needs to be about 35mm tall to go from near the bottom of the tank to where you want to wrap the coil...
What voltage and resistance are you running? A lot of times the extreme wattage just doesn't work out, especially for certain juices. I actually wind up vaping most of gennys around 8-10 watts. Also, I highly recommend drilling out the wick hole on the AGA, it can help prevent any burning taste...
Peaches n skin (peach skin)
9% TPA Peach
4% TPA Sweet Tarts
Makes for a really unique peach with that extra bit of tartness in there.
I plan to order some more fruit flavors from other companies, definitely some from capella's and I am going to see about making the best single fruit flavors...
+1 on that dingo. I think I will save the next one either for a drill press or a better dremel brand diamond grinding wheel. Dremel is one of those things were it really makes a difference to own the brand name one.
Just wanted to post back with my results. I bored out my wick hole to somewhere between 3.2-3.5mm and rolled up 80mm of #500 mesh. I can now say my AGA is working like I hoped it would to start with. I can only imagine more wick will = more vapor/better vape because the wick stays nice and wet...
