    I'm not very good with spaced coils, mostly because I've always had such great luck with contact coils using Kanthal that's all I use. So does it matter if the winds are spaced further or closer together, to get them to work well, or do they need to be just evenly spaced? I guess in tight areas...

    Thanks for the replies. I was thinking less, but when I re-wick it in a bit I'll try a tad more cotton and see how it works. With everything being so small it's hard to determine what's too much and what isn't.

    That's strange, and too bad because it is an excellent tank. If you're not getting any vapor, are the wicks getting saturated, or is it burning your wicks? Did you have the same issue with the first Silo you had?
