Something I thought you might be interested in.
Enjoy!
KGS, no matter the tank or rda I stay to one basic idea that seems to work, even if its a bit sexist... make the wick look like a cheerleader's ponytail.
It gives you a solid taper and good contact (assuming you have good density) and let's the juice travel as the wick does its thing.
Sadly...
The only thing I can see is that your wicking isn't even on each side. Note the discolored bit on one side that indicates a touch of burning on the wick.
My only complaints on the few kf's I have were tank size and airflow... both too small.
Now the Orchid is another matter entirely...
This, and the replies, are why I love this thread. Nothing but the honest examples from people that are working the same problem daily.
Aal, for me, surface area is a somewhat simple thing. The length of the coil and inner diameter of the coil should allow for the heat to dissipate so that...

Was it a loose screw, atty-to-mod connection issue...
Mac, just from playing with it, I can tell you that 20 AWG can be tensioned but it takes considerable strength to do it by hand.
I will be trying it shortly with a drill-mounted jig and fire you some results
I've played with a Lancelot, watch your battery rattle and she hits like a truck.
On the Vulcan, let me know what you think of the build deck, I've been eyeing it for a while
Sorry, been out of the loop for a while folks. Moving sucks.
Thankfully we are now done and have moved on to just unpacking and setting things up.
House has been totally re-plumbed and all the underpinnings are done and now its all minor things and cosmetic changes.
Congrats on the...
I've wanted to try a side button honestly, I use a mech all night in the truck. The usually rest in a cupholder when not being "loved" in my hand lol.
The reference for Tim's 69 was about reports on that specific clone being fiddly from a company that has more of my money than I do...
