    The end of microcoils?

Good to know, that amswered one of my questions before I asked it. Now for the other 2: Does the thickness or coloring give any indication of the heat used to create the oxidation? Is the "rainbow" oxidation thick enough or solid enough to protect the wire from electrical short or heating...

Is that something like, I used to miss my ex but my aim is getting better? Lol

    The end of microcoils?

Ok, just commenting on the colored oxidation question. Just about what you said above, this colored film oxidation, is both very thin (microns) and only the start of oxidation, correct?

    The end of microcoils?

Ok, still talking in circles I see. While I appreciate Pedro and his opinion allow me to inject some redneck science here: we don't vape in an ISO certified clean room, so get the clinical testing and then repeat it outside the lab - the real world. And while I'm at it, lets just test...

    The end of microcoils?

Agreed, I'm sure its been said but, that looks like a factory wound cigalike. Not even the same *species* as it were when you compare it to what we have today. When was the last time you used tin solder when you made your coils?

Turbo, my brother... my hat's off to you. Beautiful coil. I post the following only for comparison, not judge. This is a quickly wrapped parallel on the gizmo. Please note the difference between the top and bottom coils in my pic, there are a few. 1) The top coil is "stair-stepped"...

My only comments on rayon (being a convert) are this: Next to zero issue of dry hit scorching even at nearly 100 watts dual coil. Flavor switching is nearly instant from the time you need to drip. Slightly slower wicking speed of absorption than japanese cotton (see the pbusardo wick test...

Post pictures of your working wick and coil setup

Thanks brother, I'm getting ready to set up some flat braided 32 gauge 5 loop and some parallel 26 with 3 loop 30 gauge over the top

    The end of microcoils?

Based specifically on that quote above, is it not more likely that given kanthal develops an aluminum scale instead of a chromium scale that if any spalling were occurring that we would be in fact inhaling minute amounts of alumina instead of hexavalent chromium. And even if that were the case...

Exactly, mine take about an hour and can knock a buzzard off a manure wagon for a half a mile... nasty stuff.

    The end of microcoils?

Hey now, I drive an 18 wheeler and it's certified for clean idle by the state of California... do the math on that one! Oh, and don't be around when *it* dry burns! And yes, it really does periodically lol

I noticed that too. Summing up; thou shalt not dry burn & thou shalt only tootle puff, never chase the dreaded clouds. /sarcasm
