First off, if you're new to rebuilding, this thread might help.
Second, the thing about organic cotton balls is that they're not as heavily processed (bleached and etc). Non-organic ones work better if you boil and rinse them first and let them dry. I used to boil them for about 20 minutes...
I was referring to stepping on a wayward clipping of kanthal with bare feet, lol.
My poor Husky has gotten some in her paws a time or two and was very upset until I pulled it out [emoji22]
Anyways, I always pulse dry and then recheck the resistance on a rewick. Just stop when the smoke starts...
Lol, just wait till you are what we call the "skinny road" on one of our runs out here.
No marks on the road and no shoulders, small enough that drivers can almost high 5 as they pass each other... swapping mirrors is very common
OK so got a Fogger v4.1 and tried wicking my first .52 ohm build with rayon.
[emoji20] Thinned the tails too much and went back to cotton to learn the density for the wicks.
Juice channels are massive on this monster!
Sorry to hear all that Gtr... glad to have you back though... and tell Ray that he needs to autograph my black eye... tattoo style lol.
BTW, next time you go base jumping, call me... I wanna try the triple lindy!!
CALL THEM!!
Call the local attorney general and states attorney!
Call the media and raise hell!
All free BTW, hang them out to dry for stealing what you worked for!
Sorry... lol /rant
Yeah, there is a slightly different feel to it but its hard to describe... it is distinctly sweet and slightly smoky if your wicks are even a touch loose, that's why I like it for the break in period on rayon.
