Yea. It was just called swimming. I seem to recall something about it being easier on the pool filters and maintenance or something.
"Skinny dipping" was more fun, since it usually meant swimming naked with mixed company. It's still fun!

Well that brings back another memory! The highways were literally littered all across the country (USA). A real eyesore. We used to pick up all kinds of trash on the way to target shooting. Never had to buy paper targets. Yep. We even picked up cigarette packs for targets! Milk cartons...
