    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

Well, now that I've tried that 32g, twisted, spaced, 2mm, 1.8Ω coil I can't tell any difference in flavor from the 28g, spaced, 1.8Ω coil that it replaced. Not worth the trouble IMO. After this tank, I may try something else, but I'm not much of an experimenter. Still the best RTA I've come...

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

Well, my clear IBT came today and I built my second coil for the ErlK. I liked the spaced 1.8Ω 28ga coil so much that I decided to go spaced this time, too (less gunking, I think). I thought about doing the parallel 32ga, but ended up with a twisted 32ga, 7 wrap spaced at 1.8Ω. This was only...

New here and my husband is having trouble with the smell in the house--any solutions?

Hey, we can't all be Abigail Van Buren, but we're just as free with advice to those we don't know :D

Thanks! Yes, the metaphorical thingy. Your PV sitting on an actual fence. Just trying to get us to step out of the house/office for a bit.

Hmm. I don't think I've used more than 2 feet off my 32ga spool. I might try something like that later. But I actually like the snap, crackle, pop that my single, spaced 28ga? coil gives me. Still on my first coil with the ErlK, but I might try something different when my IBT arrives.

Work?! Well, I used to work from home and had a Bunn machine going at all times. These days it's . . . Gus Lord & Estia with my most used pen when I was working, Parker Sonnet Cisele. Hope that is enough to qualify. If so... Are you on the fence about getting the latest, greatest shiny? Is...

    The PV Picture Game

Nice! A box mod in a mod box! I certainly can't one-up that, but thought I'd post a box in a Boxx anyway. Old dual Xeon; 1Gb ethernet; serial, parallel*, 1394, AND those newfangled USB ports; Surround Sound; dual DVI/single VGA; defunct floppy drive; two 1GB HDs (one bad); two DVD burners; Win...

Sounds as if she may know how to use the right tool for the job. Good woman.

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

I was getting worried, too. Especially since they removed their confusing (to me) color selection instructions and shrunk the color chart to a point where I can't read the text in it. I only wanted a clear tank anyway, but that threw me when I went back to look into my order. Anyway, ordered...

OK. I may add mine later anyway. Got a pic standing by of a box mod in a Boxx tower (unmodded). I suspect yours may be a modded computer?

Me either. Mostly flip flops and a couple of close-toed shoes, and a pair of little used hiking boots, but nothing I would want to run in. Wait, would you consider flip flops trainers (training for lounging, beach, fishing, mowing the yard, chopping wood, etc...)? I can sneak pretty well in...

Is it safe to use mechanical mods - to subohm?

Remember, you started this thread with safety in mind, but omitted even the use of an ohm meter in your OP. I am not suggesting going below .1 ohm. But you are already dangerously low for many batteries with .16Ω builds. Although you have been changing out your batts every 90 days, there is no...

Is it safe to use mechanical mods - to subohm?

↑↑ This, on both counts. That is one of the milliohm meters I've been looking at. And I may build that circuit, but I think I would want to calibrate the multimeter before trusting it for that kind of accuracy. Yes, Fluke is good, but they do drift off specs after a time.

Is it safe to use mechanical mods - to subohm?

FWIW, I have a couple of Nanos mechanicals that have a fantastic locking ring - except that they are NOT pocket friendly, not even shirt pocket friendly. I love how easy they are to lock/unlock, but that has proven to be a bad thing on more than one occasion for me. P.S. I forgot to mention...

Is it safe to use mechanical mods - to subohm?

OK, big collection and a good multimeter. Are you using a circuit or something to give you sub ohm accuracy beyond .1Ω resolution? Range (lowest) Resolution Accuracy 600.0Ω 0.1Ω ±(0.2% + 2) I've been thinking about getting a milliohm meter or building something that...

    Let's Talk Hardware

Hmm. I just did a quick look-see and, without using group-buys, the version I looked at could be about $240 in parts - without shipping. While I think it would be fun to build, I think I'll just keep an eye open for a mfr'd BF DNA40. And I'll hold of actively searching for one 'til evolve gets...

Is it safe to use mechanical mods - to subohm?

Hmm. 200 mods in four months = 1.67 mods per day 250 drippers in four months = 2 drippers per day I'm thinking you're either exaggerating or you've opened a B&M store or . . . ? Anyway, I'm surprised you didn't mention having a quality ohm meter. And if you're targeting 0.16Ω, I highly...

I'm thinkin' maybe we should try this again? . . . . and you kids should behave yourselves

Congrats! And it went from one Mark to another. I'm no virgin, but my name is Mark. Maybe even an easy mark if you ever do think of selling it. (JK, you got a real keeper there.) @FB, does this get a note in the Sumpin & Nuppin gallery - #50 I think?

Hmm. I haven't tried a single horizontal yet. Been hearing so much about the difference, I'll have to give it a try. I do like low resistance with more surface area, though. I have some 24ga and I think I'll give it a 9 or 10 wrap test a little later. We'll see about response times on my mechs...

Oh, OK. I'll post an improved/approved version when I get a chance to get back there (I'm out of whiskey and that's not TOO far out of my way :) ) So here's one everybody should be able to do. Challenge #202: Vape mail! Pic of your PV in your mail box. It can be something just delivered or...
