    RDA Veritas rda

(Sorry, got distracted by RL for a few minutes. Back to VL now.) 18-25 watts, depending on the battery charge (mech). Mostly in the 19W range.

Dirty Monkey Vapeworks - NEMP Flinger Lounge & Reviews

My zipper coil was getting a little anemic and was taking F O R E V E R to heat up/cool down. I pulled the cap off of the Zenith and fired it up. The poo was only steaming on the outer ends of the coil and just kept bubbling away after releasing the fire button. So I dry burned it, scrubbed it...

    RDA Veritas rda

FWIW, my favorite build on the Veritas so far (I've only built two) is a dual 28ga, 2mm ID, 9 wraps at 0.7Ω. It gives more coil surface for the .7 and has very quick response time. I seem to have wrapped it in the same direction as you, though I don't remember paying that much attention. I...

I totally forgot. So I vaped it dry (didn't need to, just couldn't help it) and measured the wire. It calipered out to .32ish mm, so I'm thinking it's 28 gauge Kanthal. Heats and cools very quickly on my Nanos mech. ETA: Steam Engine seems to agree.

I'm thinkin' maybe we should try this again? . . . . and you kids should behave yourselves

1986-1995 - not retired. Did 9 years with 5 years of sea duty. Second ship was homeported in Sandog and I did 3 yrs shore duty at SIMA SD. We used NEVR-DULL on all our brightwork. So, 6 years active duty in SD, then moved to Rancho PQ and stuck around 'til 2009.

All those rewicking pics reminded me that my Zenith Zipper coil was overdue for a dry burn. That happens a lot since I've been dripping nothing but monkey poo in it. I've only tried two coils in the Veritas. Both duals, I built the first one by securing it to the positive post, then wrapping...

Seems to me that's how Evolv should have designed the DNA 20 (& 30) chips in the first place. Kudos to Innokin for teaming up with Evolv to fix its weaknesses. I also like that it doesn't fire when attempting to push more power than the battery can handle. IMO, much better than those chips that...

Is that a wish list or have you seen something indicating that the next SvoëMesto product will have these features? I only did a quickie search, but came up empty.

Oh, yes! That's some serious metal polishing reward right there. Dagwood was an amateur.

Once you've been at sea in unfriendly weather, you'll know that answer. Heck, central CA with its nearly constant chill fog might be enough.

Indeed . . . if you're into that sort of thing. I'm a polished metal guy myself - probably due to my USN days - not that I like polishing metals - but I AM good at it - perhaps too much experience - I am also fairly good at neglect - but not with my PVs - and I promise not to neglect Nuppin'

I haven't seen anything on the new KFL other than what's been mentioned in this thread. I think I'll go have a look around. This is the cure for shinyitis?

28th what? Oh, I get it. 28 in frog years. Still younger than I am

Hmm. It seems some of you in this thread have found the cure for shinyitis? Or you've found a way to reduce the symptoms ;) I find the ErlK to be quite a bit better than my KFLs. I suspect it's due to the greater range of air flow control. It is easier to coil, though I think the KFL is easier...

 Well, I must have watched it since that is very close to the method I used. Apparently my case of CRS still leaves room for subliminal suggestions.
