There were several TV mfrs that got a bad batch of capacitors (from Korea?) some time ago. There are people selling kits with the correct caps for different TVs. I replaced the relevant caps in my friend's LG TV a couple of years ago and it's been going strong ever since.

I use drippers and squonkers far more than any other type of atty. But there are two tanks that I still use every day - for the same reasons listed above and especially for their capacity and lack of maintenance requirements.
