    When is a Mega Cart considered bad?

    If the fluid is getting dark it is because the coil is gunked up. I only see this happen with dark juice. Clear never seems to have this problem. If it's seeping it is most likely the center tube is done for. Time to toss it in the garbage.

    I use them at 4.2v. It really depends what juice you are using. Sometimes just a few 10ths of a volt makes huge difference.

    It's usually due to the spring not making a positive connection. Try spreading it out a little. You might just want to get a replacement. If it was purchased by you 3 months ago it will still be under warranty.
