Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

Alcohol and soft toothbrush, rinsed wick and deck does pretty well. NO heat at all! I have pulled the wick and used a drill bit to keep formed, 'though.

Fiber Freaks - a new wicking option?

STILL like it in my Rose, but the Erls are just wonderful with the Sally's...always a pleasure, my friend.

    what you think this is?

HAW! By the time I tear down my Erl, that stuff has turned into residue so gummy and thick, it takes a pipe cleaner to get it out. Doesn't seem to affectaffectaffect you much...Besides, the Erl is 316 stainless, and it happens with Ni200, too! It ain't rust.

    DNA 40, NR, Nickel Builds

My wife's tobacco flavors (not NET) tasted horrible on Ni200. Took a hit, and she was right...it didn't have that 'burning cigarette' taste. I bought her a VF for Christmas, and she gave it back--and took my ZNA!

    Clones and Ethics

One of the objectives with purchasing is reliability, and frankly, clones often do not come close to the original manufacturer calibre with regards to workmanship, engineering, materials, or investment in quality machinery to create a quality product. Small margins in these areas can make a...

All Flavoring Manufacturers: An Open Discussion

Hangsen tends to be pretty strong, too--although I haven't tried the coconut.

    Vapor Flask

I was just in Dixie's Vapor Shop today, Kennesaw. The Vapor Flask is made in Marietta, GA. and I talked to the sales people who continue my flaked-out units for repair. I'm on my third gunmetal--the last went into psyco-autoscroll. They mentioned a new version with larger screen coming out...

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

When I take apart my Erls, and any other attys, I clean through air channels and tight spaces with pipe cleaners and get a lot of dried juice effluvia out. Break it down all the way.

    Experienced Vapers, come hither....

A wealth of knowledge here. Pick the topic and there's a thread already started--VV/VW devices and RBA's, and although everyone has an opinion about their new discovery, it IS a good place to do your comparative shopping. Tips can also be found on youtube on a multitude of subjects. Now the...

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

Sadly, nothing more than a manifestation of my neurosis for uniformity...and I noticed that the coil doesn't seem to need as much attention after installation. I'm on my 5th tank without any looking at it...in medicine we have an an abbreviation, 'WNL' which is supposed to mean 'within normal...

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

I thought that since our builds are so similar, I would pass along a quick tip: I'm winding on a machine screw with fine threads, as many are, but leaving it on the screw, aligned initially with the post screws so it's easy to wrap around the posts--the DNA 40 loves good contact. Once secure...

    Is Vaping Dying?

I watch the classys, and given it some thought. The quality of clones has significantly improved over the past 6 months, IMO, and the new attys and VW devices have hit the market in that time are a vast improvement also. You have to consider that the kids going 'cloud chasing' can get a 150w...

What are you waiting for in the mail?

Thankfully, a FT order of 3 Erlkonigin clones. I have an authentic, and love the thing,,,very easy to maintain and great design. I say 'thankfully because I'm still shaking my head at my last purchase!

    Cloupor ZNA 50

I've had mine for over a month now, use it around the house as a 'back up'. Really, it's very durable--I have an authentic Rose V2 on, and it weighs 5 pounds, and in 650 mode it falls from my table frequently. No glitches except the Cloupor constant of suddenly wants attention and screen...

VS rDNA40 vs Flask and Hana...is DNA 40 defective?

Y'know, there's another benefit to having a dual battery device. I saw a link to battery lifef that plotted the charge life of batteries, and the less that they are discharged before charging, the greater the number of charges they'll take. 400-500 for fully discharged batteries, 650-700...

    Erlkonigin and Clone Comparison

HA! I think I turned Qorax onto rayon build on his Erl, after I found it wasn't so difficult to get a good wick going with it, compared to cotton. I never tried silica, but I'd bet on it being harder to get good wicking with an adequate sized coil wick and (ew!) thinning silica into the wick...

    Erlkonigin and Clone Comparison

Thanks for the tip! I had to buy the 22mm today, and picked up the purple PMMA and another 21mm SS for myself, too. I wasn't sure about the whole 'clone' Erl until I got one on ebay, and it's working on the VF DNA 40 with the first build and 3 cleanings of the coil! Pain free!!! If they work...

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

I like this because it warms the center of both coils, spreading the 'real estate' of the juice and (I imagine) the wicking quite effectively. Very nice, Qorax, and I'm looking forward to trying this arrangement.
