    Depends on what's important to you and what you want to spend for that. Do you care what it looks like? Do you want the flexibility of maybe going up to higher voltage? Do you have particular materials you want it made out of?

    I don't think using an LR atomizer on a standard 510 battery in and of itself is bad. I think the problem is that you would end up recharging the battery every two hits as the LR atties will drain it pretty quick.

    5V passthrough can be had for $10-14. If you're going to use it a lot, I would recommend getting the adapter to use a wall outlet, another $12-15. Or you can try a LR atomizer or cartomizer; not quite the same but would be close and the absolute cheapest.
