    The mvp is a damn good bit of kit, I use mine all day every day, never seen the power drop yet, sounds like your getting more frustrated with the toppers, next time your at your local store pick up an aspire et-s, (try and get one with the updated bvc coil) they are really good yet simple to use...

    Yeah I did do, like I say the coil was spot on, just slow to heat (but it had a nice even glow from the centre out) and a bit too long by the time I got to 1.6ohm

    Ok, bit of confusion, I was using .32mm wire (Brits and their annoying metric eh?) so 28awg, I've now picked up some .27mm (30-31awg) in the hopes it will heat quicker, Using a kayfun clone on an mvp2

    I am going to pick up some 28 kanthal tomorrow, I did a 7wind build at 2mm with tight spacing and it was coming up as 1ohm, was very even heating but slow to heat, the wire I have seems comparable to kanthal D in the way it's working, will going to kanthal A 28 make much difference?
