    That's the same setup I used. It worked ok. Sounds like slow wicking. My preferred setup is with an ekowool sleeve over 1/16 ss cable. That works great. Better than ss mesh sleeve setup imo.

    Look at post #37. ss mesh or rope goes in the tank hole. The cotton is used to transfer juice from the wick to the coil.

    Yeah, I tried the cotton and coil method on my backup aios. Works pretty well. I flooded it first and had to try again, but it is working pretty good now. I am using cotton yarn as well. I think the cotton ball would be better.

    There are a couple of videos on the aios td. Check those out. That's what I did. It really helped. If you have some ekowool try that as a sleeve over the mesh. If not, wrap a coil no lower than 1 ohms maybe higher. maybe a cooler wick would help...higher ohms. Also make sure there no hot spots...

    Ok...well I use 1/16" ss rope with a 2mm ekowool sleeve. I never had much luck using ss mesh. The ekowool sleeve saturates the wick so I don't get dry hits unless I heavy chainvape, but I don't.

    Just picked up 25' of 1/16" ss wire rope. That is the size that that I'm using. Fits just right.

    If I didn't have another one coming, I'd jump on the fasttech deal. Funny though, it's priced a lot cheaper than the fogger. But it's a much better device than the fogger imo.

    Good question. I think someone gave this to me to try some months back. Now I need some more and don't know the exact size. With my calipers it measures about .065 or 1.67mm.

    I decided to shorten the ss wick so that it sits just inside the edge. And use 2mm ekowool inside. With the ekowool peeking out the sides about 2mm or 1/8". It vapes great...Wow!
