I've been re-using this pic a bit, but it applies here so...
Here's a snap of my Provari with a Kayfun Lite + on top, and it's wrapped in a flexi-sleeve from Serenity Gear. It also has my Semovar, which is pertinent since I have the blue M-Tank on top on that KFL+.
I agree with what...
I have a Semovar, and IMHO the adjustable pin is a bit of a hassle. It fires my Kayfun Lite + with the pin screwed all the way down nicely, but won't fire my Protank 2 or 3's unless I raise it up. It's not a terribly big deal, but I wish I could switch tank types without making an adjustment...
If you're looking for something with vv/vw, I'd recommend the Semovar by Svoemesto. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is great and it's fully serviceable. On top of that, they're coming out with a mechanical attachment for it, so once that's available you have the best of both worlds. I...
I've been very pleased with VapeRev, personally. Their brick and mortar shop is local and I just drive in to pick stuff up, but they have a nice selection of goodies. From what I've heard from others, they're pretty quick with shipping as well.
I'm not sure if they're available online, but...
I'm a big fan of Serenity Gear, personally.
Here's a snap of my standard size Provari with the flexi-sleeve on it. I really like the way it feels in my hand, plus there's a cutout for the LED window. There's also a ring on the back to connect a lanyard (comes with the case) or a karabiner...
Fwiw, it's easy to get the threads cross-threaded. I had this problem a couple times myself, but I'm extra careful with the threading these days and haven't had a problem since.
Here is a pic of my babies. I have a Provari and Semovar, both of which are running with Kayfun Lite + attys. I've been a non-smoker for 18 days at this point and I'm never looking back! Vape on! :vapor:
I'm not sure of where to buy replacement parts, but I do know that vaperev is selling protank 2 and 3's for $10.00 each (just bought 3 Protank 3's locally a couple days ago). At that price, I'd get a few. :) I hope this helps.
For me, it's all about the Torque 56 from Halo. Great flavor and throat hit, plus it's a clean juice that doesn't clog up my coils. I've tried others, but kept coming back to the Torque 56. I don't even bother with anything else for tobacco flavored ejuice. Everyone's palate is different...
I'm a recent non-smoker myself, and while I still get urges from time to time while I'm drinking, I've found that a high nicotine ejuice with a good throat hit does the trick. For me, my drinking go-to is Torque56 by Halo in 18mg. Drink and vape on!
Definitely check out Vaperev. I bought a Semovar there recently, along with a couple KFL+ attys, and their customer service is outstanding! They have a lot of good juice as well, and will let you taste anything and everything. They're in Cerritos off the 605 at Alondra, and they open at 11.
Great post on vw for the Semovar! I just picked one up at Vaperev a few days ago (fortunately they're only about 5 minutes away from me), and so far I love it. I also have a Provari, and up until reading your post, I hadn't messed with the vw option since I'm familiar with vv. I'm hesitant to...
Agreed. That's why my Semovar stays at home. Provari's seem like they're a bit more durable, and the Serenity leather sleeve seals the deal of it being my on the go device. I took a picture showing the difference, but I'm new here and not sure how to do that yet. :)
Just checked out the dna 30, and, well, I may have to add it to my repertoire at some point. :) Just getting into RBA by way of a KFL+, and am loving it, and higher amps may be in the cards soon.
Man, I just picked up a Semovar at Vaperev yesterday, but after seeing all of these pics I may need to go shopping again (and I already had a Provari)! 3 days without analogs and lovin' the vaping so far! Overall, I've been vaping for about a month and I'm hooked!
