 My Mom loved Loretta Lynn. She'd sing Coal Miner's Daughter while I played the guitar to it. Also she'd sing "Suspicious Minds" by Elvis....but that's another tale...

Good bands! Mine are Ozzy, Whitesnake and Van Halen. Actually it's hard just to pick a few... The windchimes are an actual recording of windchimes on a breezy day! Kind of haunting, but relaxing. ;) Being a musician, we sometimes do weird things like that!
Thanks for visiting...
Very Coool choice!
I actually rented and watched the movie "Johnny Got His Gun" years back, in which they got the video footage from. Very eerie movie. Fits the song perfectly!
BTW, what's your favorite Metal band?
Bri
Good choice, Dale!
A fantastic and extremely talented guitarist...actually one of my faves. And his fingers are just as precise and nimble now as they were back then. His solo from "Comfortably Numb" ranks in the top 10 Greatest Guitar Solos in my book. :)

Very nice choice, Redd!
Definitely a heart-felt song...actually one of my favorites by the Beatles. That and "Ticket to Ride". :headbang:
Good to see ya!

Very Cool! Wow...another guitarist, that's awesome! We're swarming in here...
BTW, I have to play and sing "Burning Heart" by Vandenburg every time the acoustic comes out....or else!
Thanks for playing!

Good Morning Redd and Friends!
Hope you all are having a great day so far. As for me....I'll tell ya once I get this first cup o' joe down!
Be Well! Brian :)
Oh yes! Reminds of the old garage jam sessions when I wore a younger man's clothes. Cheap beer, loud guitars feeding back, screechy vocals...and a few cute girlys too!!! Good times indeed.....back when my knees and back didn't hurt me all the time.

Great Song, Count! Yep...I remember the tune too, it fits your story to a "T"! I grew up listening to George Jones, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard and Elvis...my Mom was just NUTS about them! Then one day...I heard Jimi Hendrix play "The Star Spangled Banner". It was all over with then!!!! Been...
Good choice! Funny you said that, my Mom thought Stairway was a pretty song.. but my cassette had Heartbreaker by Zep on it after Stairway...then she'd make me turn it back down.
