    Hmm.. I've always thought that it was from liquids that had either sweetener or ethyl maltol (or both) added to it. I make my own liquids and have noticed that liquids that don't have any sweetener or ethyl maltol don't crust up as quickly as those that do have it. Sent from my iPad Air...
