    I use 28 gauge Kanthal with 5-6 wraps on a 2.5mm coiling jig. This give me a coil somewhere in the range of 1.5 to 1.6 ohms. I get my wire from Temco (TEMCo Industrial Power Supply) good prices and fast shipping.

    I don't think that's exactly what the FDA had in mind. I believe when they say "closed system" they mean something where the user can't refill the atomizer with their favorite liquid. I'm sure that the FDA wants to severely restrict the number of flavors of liquids so as to not entice children...
