New EGO TANK system.
I have fixed tight draw on an ego-TA by poking a big needle up the battery hole and pushing the heater off to one side or upwards just a tad. This will only work if its as tight to draw through off the battery totally as it is connected, the heater is blocking the base hole in he ceramic cup...- Stonemull

Based on the fact its a different current for different resistances, its likely to be detected in the converter itself so it ends up as various output currents. Its not protecting the atty .. its protecting the switching mosfet and... -

I have been saying since I first got my Provari .. it does not like LR attys, 1.6Ω will E2 on mine at 3.4 or 3.5V, once dirty and the resistance lowers, occasional E2 on 3.3V. This does not seem to meet the claims of 2.5A, but perhaps the current detection is detecting spikes or whatever. Its... -

had mine for a month or so now .. I am using it with 2 adapters screwed on to too lengthen so I can screw on eGo attys. I did them up fairly tight so they don't unscrew when I remove the atty. Also had them on so long I can't remember if it screws down all the way. (510 - 901 then 901-510 btw)... -

hmm, mine doesn't work once the light flashes .. say i'm on 4.2V (usual) button flashes, thats it .. its cut off. what i often do is unscrew the battery half way and back in. this turns off the battery warning .. go to pd and drop it down to 3.3 and I can get another hour or so if i need it... -

It might .. but you are stuck with the one voltage, so too hot or too cold and you have to live with it. Loving my provari still, not really a cheapy tho its worth the bucks. -
Ego-T Drag Resistance Inconsistent on New Attys
I totally agree with you, was just posting my thoughts, the placebo thing was a bit of stirring. I find it odd that a variable in manufacturing is a drilled hole .. seems a very odd kind of thing to be inconsistent. With that in mind, maybe something else about that hole is causing the issue...- Stonemull
