I like the flavor and vapor production on mine but I've always had an issue with the center post spinning and stretching the coils when I tighten the post screw. It seems the center post is press fit as I can't tighten down the positive contact to it.

I was surprised when recently many reviews started stating they would no longer do ejuice reviews for any bottles that were not received with child proof caps. I can preciate your plight but I think adding these caps is a positive step.
As an aside, my wife recently traveled with 3 Nautili (lol) and all 3 were filled. The one she kept in her purse on her mod was fine. The 2 she put in a plastic bag in her carry on both flooded (but didn't leak too much). I found that odd as I would have almost expected the reverse.

Sounds like an extra layer of effort for where I vape but my first thought took me back to the old days when I ran off-road 1/10th scale gas rc cars. You could buy a heat resistant large open cell airfilter wraps that might work.
