First ditch the font. It's girly but not easy to read. He made a good first step stealing your gear; it means that at least he's willing! Don't push it though. Get him involved in buying ejuice and maybe his own mod. That will go a long way. Congrats on your win!- Miata GT

How do you pick what wattage to vape at?
Great starting advice. I usually use 2.2 but the idea is the same. Keep in mind the type of atty you use, and the coil if it's a build, can make a difference.- Miata GT

2 vs 3 post RDA
I'm not an RDA master by any means but I have a few and enjoy them very much. I would recommend a 3 post RDA which makes life easier when building for dual coils. How long is a VV/VW mod supposed to last.
That's a tough question to answer because many 'cheap' mods are built to their pricepoint and not intended to last the life of the owner. A higher-end, and much more expensive, device like a ProVari will fill the bill for a long-lasting device. ...or a REO, lol.- Miata GT

Yeah I'm not getting these responses either. The OP is asking what happened or why did something happen. The responses so far seem to be supporting ECFs right to do what it wants. If it makes you feel any better I went through the same issue with my 357. I bought one becasue I wanted to try one of everything, lol. At any rate I never found it satisfying and was too messy to boot. I now have REO mods and thought it might be nice to use it occassionally instead os the RM2...- Miata GT

The switch getting hot is due to resistence in the switch. You should take it apart and make sure everything is clean and shiney to reduce this. Sometimes it's just the switch. I had a Private v2 that I couldn't build below 0.5ohms before the switch would get how no matter what I did.- Miata GT
