I'm inclined to believe that the RBA hits better and goes through more liquid because compared to traditional disposable coil heads, rebuildable coils are usually larger and have more surface area as well as more wicking material than the coil heads... more juice, more heating area covered, more... -

The RBA base doesn't utilize the airflow control on the eGrip? That's a slight bummer... I don't like super airy draw. Are you sure? Just seems silly to have the RBA base just cut off one of the features of the mod. -

I got a couple of burnt hits using the BVC coils too, but if you want to give it another go, try putting the BVC coil back in and holding both of the air inlet holes closed and suck through the drip tip a few times to pull some liquid down into the coil. It doesn't wick very fast with a fresh... -
