The threads that dwell on the beautification of our mods bore the hell out of me. Ok, ok, ok, don't get in a tizzy. Nothing against my fellow Reonauts who wish to augment the aesthetics of their Grands, Woodvils, Mini's, etc. It's me, not you--ok? I'm a blue-collar guy and I look at my Grands...

I'm surprised one of the nic suppliers hasn't come out with an "Apocalypse Sale". Ya know, they fill and add on the cost of the Boston brown bottles and sell the nic at a fair price and folks like us would beat a path to their door or so it seems to me. Maybe they have and I just haven't seen it.

Mine fell out of my pocket and I ran over it with my skidder with chains on all 4 tires. I literally pried it out of the rock road. Robert honed out the door grooves, replaced the door and its good as new with a few battle scars . No other mod could have survived.

I doubt that the threads on the screw that holds the delrin cover are ever stripped. The problem is that the threads in the aluminum housing(the body of the mod) into which the screw is inserted become worn.

Yeah, but its more challenging outfitting ourselves this way, don't you think? When your mailbox's contents are like a box of chocolates and you never know what you're gonna get?:)

I recently ordered an extra spring, a couple atty screws and a spare bottle tube.

Just got my skidder-crunched Grand back yesterday from Robert. Had it shaved to a low-pro and ss 510 connector installed while it was there--which brings me to my question. After looking it over a bit, I built a coil, wicked it, put a battery in and went to fire it up--wouldn't fire. Then I...

No, I usually run chains year-round. Still doesn't keep me from running wide open all the way.
