My new BB and my new Roo! I'm seriously blown away and love the extra air flow over my old bridge with BVC. Simply amazing.
Gonna take a minute to get used to the new button placement but I'm over the top happy with this.
No problems here. I don't usually go very low and I haven't used a Hobo on a regulated device yet, but these are both running around .8 ohm, and taste pretty fantastic.
It can be done! I have two modified for bottom feeding. Modifications were done by Chowderhead. You can search for Catfish bottom feeder thread here on ECF for more details.
Just want to say thanks again Chowder for the Hobo's. I've only built one of them so far, but I'll build the other later today. I really liked it as a top feeder, but I love it as a bottom feeder.
I think what you've described is about dead on. It's like a 16mm atty trapped in a 22mm atty's...
Got my Hobo's in today and can't wait to build them up tonight!
The work looks really great and I'm really impressed with how you got the hole so low. I wouldn't have been that creative. I'll post some more thoughts tonight after I get them cleaned and built but I'm pretty pumped to try...
Dunno, haven't tried it yet.
But I would think you could sand it down a bit then buff it? I think applying a paint of any thickness at all would minimize the print lines quite a bit. I might not even bother trying to clean them up.
Received my Sculpteo Alumide DNA body and top cap yesterday. Forgot to get some pictures of it, but I can when I get home tonight. I received the package the same day I received the shipping notice.
Initial thoughts: Since they didn't offer the polished option, the print lines are much more...
The current Fatdaddy bottom feeder setup will require some work to make it functional. I don't think it's quite to the point that it works favorably as is.
There's some discussion here

I don't know if everyone experiences the same, but the polished metal rings didn't seem very polished. I ordered a raw brass and polished nickel and they don't look all that different to me.
You'll probably have to spend time polishing it too if you want a smooth polished look.
For stock bottom feeders, I think 16ish is likely as big as they go.
Some of the newer 22mm atties have a bottom feed option available or people are now modifying them to be bottom fed.
The Odin would be a very popular example of a stock 22mm available in bottom feed.
The catch cup on a...
