IPV3 Charger?
P4Y is sending me a cord. He says 9volt 2 amp. He recommended the Zenithink tablet charge cord (which apparently is the same) 3.5mm size. Gonna try to find a car charger that works. -

Got mine a couple weeks ago. All in all i like it. NOT happy about having no powercord included. Also disapointed in all the asmodus drama. -

P4Y said the YiHI firmware upgrade (for the ipv3) will be 180 by the holidays. Download file, hook up USB and ready to go. (Hopefully more effective than the cloupor disaster.) Supposedly you can customize the boot up screen to show you name or something like that too. As far as the question...- Budkiss

Froket, well said. I totally agree. I am currently using the ipv3 and LOVE the longer battery life. And while i sub ohm (mostly RDAs) i find the batter lasts longer with 1-1.2 (or above) coil(s). I love the versatility of the VV/VW box. Instant results at the touch of a button. -

I dont really use steam engine to USE my box but i think the site has some useful info... ohms law, coil building, juice mixing, battery drain. etc. -

I added a partial wrap to mine (btw... the whole "sweet spot" thing i got from steam engine. I dont know if it is right or not... was just passing it on. They have somehow figured it out for a huge list of mods from a pull down menu. As for the safe power chart... i agree. I dont usually abide... -

i assume you mean in hand (not ordered). If so... have you checked your wattage/voltage data to see how accurate it is. I was a bit worried about the germany expo info until i checked mine ipv3 out. -

I have the ipv3 in hand and so far really like it. I was a bit worried about wattage/voltage accuracy so i took it to a shop and tested it on a couple builds from 10 w to 150 w and see no problems. It isnt a perfect box by any means but it is an improvement from the ipv2 imo. -

it does HAVE a touch fire button but it is disabled (because of the water resistant feature ... like the ipv2-s) Supposedly magnets will likely be on next box. Ughhhh Buttons on this version are actually a huge improvement. -

Agreed. the battery area isn't as clean as the ipv2 imo. I like the preset option to quickly switch rda/rba and settings. I have mine set at 17w (4.1v when i use 1ohm), 25w, 50w, 100w, and 150w for quick swaps. Buttons are much better imo. Outside of the box and edging is a big improvement...
