thank you all for the replies, this is what i've got out of it so far
- use a lower gauge kanthal, 32 heats up that hot spot to fast
- tilt wick towards center post
- use washers on the positive post
i dont have a camera to take pics with.. im sorry all
i hope its not just me getting this mad... its just soooooooooooo furiating!!
i decided to try use the negative post / screw instead of the other screw that you trap the wire with.
as of right now its hitting "okay". not the best vapor, but not the worst. for some reason my 4 wraps of 32guage...
this is pissing me the .... off, i have totally wasted $25. the same spot of the coil ALWAYS HEATS UP WAY TO FAST.
this is most .......n furiating ....ing thing i've ever done
okay im using mesh and 32 kanthal, everytime i make a coil on this thing it heats up really hot where the wire is straight from the coil to the center post.
it heats up so much it lit my whole wick on fire...
whats going on do you guys think?
2.4 ohm would be fine!
here's a decent chart for indication on what voltage to use with which resistance of your atomizer/cartomizer/whatever!
Safe Vaping Power | Voltage | Resistance | Ohm Chart
try pullin the center post of both your battery and vivi out farther to make a connection, but not to hard. take it easy on it.
and after you screw it on, slow loosen it while holding the button down while taking a pull. both hands are required.
sometimes my components make weird connections...
maybe its just that these things pack a hard TH?
i don't think my coils are to tight, but i can always be wrong.
i just feel as if i should be getting more vapor.
i've also found that if i put over 5 drops in, the atty will make barely any vape and a super scratchy throat hit. so i have to...
i dont know about that, i made sure there is no metal touching any coil other than the kanthal in the screw holes, which are both trimmed short.
ps: i just made a new wick / coil, its hitting alright, okay amount of vapor, but the throat hit is hard. it started dry burning when i was testing...
i have an MOV Phoenix Rebuildable Atomizer, and every wick / coil i build heats up to fast and glows, yes thats with juice on the wicks.
the hits are harsh and barely any vapor. it was even doing this right out of the mail, and now i just can't even get a good wick/coil in it... is this one...
i made a head for my vivi that was using 80% cotton and 20% hemp. it was sooo great, but now my vivi leaks way to badly since the new replacement tube and my metal "screw on parts" are a tad smaller than the tank tube. so im switching to phoenix rebuildable atomizer.
What if my charger is a different mah other than 450?
will it effect my battery? for instance i have a 420mah charger and i just ordered a vision spinner
I'm thinking of getting this: MOV Phoenix Rebuildable Atomizer | Cheapest Rebuildable Atomizer on the market!
Will a standard drip shield fit around this? If anyone knows that'd be helpful ;)
