    So long as one leg is through the middle and the other through an outer post, it doesn't matter which outer post you choose for a single coil. You just want to have an airflow hole right over your coil, so whichever post makes that more convenient.

    That shouldn't be a problem with your dripper. If it was a hardware issue I'd say it was probably in the mod, but I'm assuming you are using a Provari, so I doubt that's the prob. Most likely just your coil taking a sec to cool down. What gauge kanthal are you using? How big are you making the...

    If you have wicking issues, you can always widen the slots with a dremel. Busardo has an old vid on how to slot, it's really easy, but you might not even have to worry about it, those S cartos are slotted pretty big to begin with.
