    There is no reason to check it in the hold. Liquid under 3.4 ounces is fine to go. Just put it in your clear plastic 1qt bag and take it through the security checkpoint.

    Yeah they screwed their employees when they went under to. They didn't give any warning they just told them at the end of their shift that they were out of a job. It makes me mad that a company would do that seeing as they had to have known a long time before then that it was coming.

    Let me apologize again because even though I am by no means the voice of TSA it is officers like that who make me look bad. I can say that there are people like that even where I work but for every one of them there are ten hard working friendly TSO's.

    Better safe than sorry, I understand. For anyone wondering about what items are prohibited go to TSA.gov and you will be able to find the list there. I dont think I can post a link yet but go to the travelers tab and its pretty self explanatory.

    I have tested my bottle of VG liquid before and there was no alarm. Did they tell you it alarmed for VG? If so they lied to you because the closest compound to VG it would find is NG. I dont want to go into too much detail because I dont want to get myself in trouble so I will leave it at that.
