You could try drilling the air holes out bigger but I'm pretty sure the stock trident allows dual 2.2mm holes which IMHO is pretty darn airy to start with
Use some ice cubes on top of your coils. Jk. What ohm are you at right now? Also get your coil/coils as close to the air holes without touching them to create a short and it should help reduce some of the heat. The more airflow generally creates a cooler vape.
That's probably not enough cotton. Less is better but you want enough that there aren't any gaps but not so much you can't move the cotton back and fourth.
Hey Sam Kruse, I use to smoke a pack a day and started out on 18nic. Maybe it's just me but even with 18nic if I vaped too much I would get a massive headache. I switched to 12nic and problem solved. Maybe it was just me but I'm just letting you know my experience.
