Dryers used to be relatively cheap, and they seemed to last a long time. These days, they are not cheap at all and they seem to last about 5 years.
I'm old enough to remember when you bought a refrigerator and expected it to last you for many years. These days, I only expect to get 7 - 8...
Robin, you need a visit from "Paul Flart." Apparently, he would be a big hit around there:

You do need a backhoe, as previously suggested. Around here, Home Depot rents them. It would save you a huge amount of manual labor and possibly a back injury.
Stop Unwanted Robocalls & Telemarketers with RoboKiller
I'm thinking about giving this a try. It's a genius idea, and I hope this guy makes a fortune from it.
Basically, it wastes the time of the telemarketers, which hits them right in the pocketbook. And you can either use their library...
I experienced a haboob out in Phoenix several years ago. I'm sure April has seen several of them. They are creepy and bizarre.
Frankly, I'd rather breathe the air in a haboob than go to a store and breathe the air with people sneezing and coughing. I think I'm becoming more germophobic as I...
Went to bed at 11:30 last night. Woke up at 2:30, but managed to go back to sleep after a while.
Woke up again at 4:30, wide awake. No sense in laying in bed when I know I won't go back to sleep.
This happens all the time now. When I was young, I could sleep like a baby. No more.
Oh my! I had forgotten about Ami Pro. I never used it but I remember seeing it and reading about it in PC Mag and PC World. All this was new and exciting stuff back then.
Same here. I started using it in 1984 on a brand new state-of-the-art PC with two floppy drives (no hard drive) and a green monochrome screen. It was so simple and easy to use and did everything perfectly.
That was back when a mouse was rodent rather than a device.
It ain't just Google. I recently got an email from Yahoo/AT&T/Verizon/AOL about the updated privacy policy for their new merger with AOL called "Oath". Here's a couple of snippets from it:
"Dear Member,
In June 2017, Yahoo and AOL joined forces to create Oath, a media and technology company...
You would have a hard time finding someone more soft-hearted than me when it comes to animals. I'm not a hunter. I get no pleasure from killing God's creatures. The only reasons I will kill an animal are (1) for food, (2) as an act of mercy if it's injured, and (3) protection of person or...
A neighbor of mine was bitten by a copperhead in a woodpile. It really screwed him up for several months. You guys can all snuggle up with the copperheads if you want to. But my job is to protect my family. That includes protecting them from things that can and, given the right opportunity...
I'm thinking about trying a Suorin Air for something pocketable when I don't really want to carry my Eleaf iStick and KF3.1. I'm not sure if that's a pod system or not. I know someone who has one and he likes it.
