You and I are kindred spirits. Recently, I noticed the comb I have in my travel kit when I'm on the road. It was a freebie that was given to me by the hair stylist place, and their name is stamped on it. That where I used to get my hair cut in the mid-1970's. (I moved...
Papaw, that Woodvil is beautiful. People make knife handles and pistol grips from stabilized wood, and some of them are really spectacular like your Woodvil.
I think you'll get used to the feel of it in your mouth. I would suggest using the Sonicare brush (instead of the aftermarket one) until you get used to it.
I get my teeth cleaned every 4 months, so I change brush heads after every cleaning.
My Sonicare runs for two minutes in 30 second segments. I do one quadrant of my mouth per segment, and then usually do another 30 second segment for good measure.
General, if yours has 2 speed/intensity settings, make sure you've got it set on the lower setting.
General, one thing you will learn quickly on the Sonicare is this: Turn it off before taking it out of your mouth! Otherwise, it shakes toothpaste and slobbers all over the place..
Will there ever be another Super Bowl in which the Patriots don't play? Is there anyone who isn't sick of the Patriots? Sheesh.
I was rooting for the Saints and the Chiefs. I should have told you guys so you could have placed bets on the Rams and Patriots and cleaned up big time.
I completely agree. That show jumped the shark a long time ago when they decided to focus more on Chum being a knucklehead than on Rick and the interesting stuff that comes in the store.
How would anyone really know if there really is global warming. The "scientists" have been caught so many times cooking the books, falsifying data and ignoring data that doesn't support their agenda, that I don't believe anything they tell me.
This world of ours has been going through periods...
I need to watch that series. It's just never been on my TV watching radar screen.
I watch very little TV, although I do enjoy American Pickers and Forged in Fire. Embarrassingly, I'll also admit a fondness for Moonshiners. Oh, and I do usually enjoy Mountain Men when I run across it if I'm...
When I was a teenager, I was in an open field on a big tractor plowing with a chisel plow in the ground. A storm blew up and the lightning got pretty bad. So I raised the chisel plow out of the ground so that no part of the tractor or plow was touching the ground except the rubber tires.
The...
See if you can find the Wild Tonic Jun Kombucha in the Blueberry Basil flavor. I love that stuff. We tried the Raspberry Goji Rose flavor recently and didn't care for it too much (left a weird aftertaste).
I'm not sure what the difference is between Kombucha and Jun, but I like this stuff...
That's what I want. And I want a 1,000 gallon propane tank to feed it.
Propane isn't the most efficient fuel, but it never goes bad like gasoline does. Diesel would be my second choice.
I read a series of historical fiction books by Terry C. Johnston about a mountain man back in the early 1800's. I think the series was 25 or 26 books, and it was great to follow the man's life from start to finish in book after book.
It's been 10 or 12 years since I read the series. If I...
General, I agree on the 2nd opinion. Certainly can't hurt, and it might be enlightening.
I've been using a SoniCare for years. They are really good and you should buy one regardless of how the second opinion turns out.
