I'm no master coiler but I've tried plenty of wicking material. XC-116 braided ceramic might hold up better than regular silica but would probably hold the same health concerns. Actually the xc-116 seemed a bit rough on my throat so I ended up back on the 3mm 'german' silica which I remember... -

Rob is squared-away. He tossed in a couple tube kits with my latest grand that were missing from my first order after dropping him a note. Knowing usps, it wouldn't surprise me if that initial order of rm2's eventually show up, but who knows. cheers -
