The Spheroid does use filler material wrapped around the central airway up through the center of the "tank". I use the blue aquarium filter foam in mine. It hold the juice and slowly feeds the silica wick...works very well. Looks nice too...
I swear I am going to report some of you to V.A.M.P.I.R.E. (Vapers Against Maltreatment of Pipes Instigating Repair Efforts), you guys have got to start treating your pipes with the respect they deserve!
Matt's stems will till have a bit of a transition bump with the e-cig bell but not as jarring as the standard bell does. Most of my stems have a screw in tenon that I pull out. I then use a round burr to open the stem up and then JB Weld in a Siam Mod drip tip stem.
No way to buy them...I don't live in that state and refuse to even visit it...lol. If they ever have a website I might buy.

Don't hide away your extra tanks, get some Ravens from Got Vapes. They are a disposable in tank atomizer that work quite well. Very nice to have on hand for those times when a coil dies and you don't want to rebuild at that moment.
