Hey, Teach, The circuitry on the iTaste might be iffy - I saw a reviewer having problems with it reading consistently and correctly... They may need to work on that. I had problems getting the ViVi, the Tidy, and the Fluxo firing on the iTaste - I have to jiggle and wiggle and tighten down or... -

Yes, you will need an 808 to 510 adapter to use the ViVi. -

The initial ones are, that I believe. The first run, when the base wasn't so tight into the tube (you could actually take it apart by hand), didn't have those cracks, if I recall correctly. Why they tightened those tubes and caused those cracks, I'll never know. But I suspect that the cleaner... -

Yeah, I think short wicks work better all the way around, as long as one doesn't mind tilting. I was thinking of trying it with the Fluxos as well. :) I couldn't get the center tube off for some reason. Maybe mine is tighter than normal - but someone did the pics, so I saw what's in there... -

Thanks, Teach. I wish I had some of those rings left... Oh, well. BTW, I noticed that the 510 adapter on the iTaste can be a bit problematic. It tightens the draw on everything. And despite the movable center post, you have to tighten stuff to kingdom come to made contact. The second... -

You can't really see the juice in there, if it's in there - too dark. I even tried a flashlight. Too much wick, not enough light. Anyway, you may be right though. Because if I were right, if you turned this pup close to upside-down, the juice would just leak out. I tried it. It doesn't... -

You have to have a tight seal for the vacuum theory to work though. This is not sealed at all. It's not a glass, it's tube open to air with holes in the bottom. The liquid should pour right in, unless the wicks stuff the entire volume of the tube, or fill the holes. -

With just water? I'd like to find a use for my ultrasonic cleaner... I'm pretty convinced that it worsens the cracks in the Stardusts, so I haven't been using it. -

You may be right - there is no way to tell for sure that I'm aware of... But I don't see that the holes on the bottom are blocked by the wick - not even close. And, furthermore, just about everyone has been pouring the juice into the tube anyways... I haven't, but I tilt heavily. How do we...
