Gesh, I looked yesterday and completely missed it. Thanks!
Course, I cannot put in an order for a few dollars...what else to get....hummmm...must...resist....
Anyone know where I can buy several replacement screws for the RM2? I looked through the forum and didn't find anything.
I was rebuilding one of my RM2's last night and almost lost one (trying out some ~1.0 ohm coils) I'd like to have some on had in case that happens.
I have the Cyclone and really like it. It is harder to build than the RM2 but it is much nicer looking in stainless, smaller profile and vapes almost as good. It was the first RBA I got for my Reo. I'd like to get the cap with the air control so I could play around with airflow. I'm not...
I have the RM2 and a Cyclone. I'd say they are close, the RM2 is a bit better on VTF but I am not extremely fussy. I use my Cyclone right along side my 3 RM2's.
The build quality for me is fine. It is definitely not the higher end quality like the cyclone but it is much easier to maintain. I...
Finally found this for the car. $10 on Amazon.
I have a Mazda 3 which I love. It handles like a dream and I sometimes push it to the limits - but only when no one else is in the car, the roads are dry and nobody else is near which is pretty rare. It is not unsafe, the Mazda pulls turns like a...
On the Provari forum I commented that the packaging was lame. Clearly said it wasn't an issue but for a ProVari even a velvet bag would make it a better unboxing.
Yea, I got slammed. Gesh. Now I don't bother with the Provari forum.
I tried it and sold it. Too much work recoiling with the non-resistance wire. It was a good vape but the RM2 is easier to maintain and is a slightly better vape.
Here is the Reo kicked with cooper foil tape.
You can get the foil tape off of ebay or at some music stores. It used on electric guitars. I got 6 FEET X 50mm Copper Foil Tape EMI Shielding for Guitars Pedals for less then $6 on the bay.
I just cut a piece to fit - then slid one end under...
Curious, if this thread is the "REO Family Photos & Storage Ideas Part II", why don't I see any storage ideas?
I've been looking for some lately and not had too much luck. Since I don't have much to buy or fiddle with since I got my Reo's I need something to do with all that time I...
Wow, I was thinking about a brass rm2 for my copper and was wondering what it looked like :). That baby is awesome.
Guess I need myself a sharp dressed Reo. :toast:
I would suggest a Reo bath. Clean her up, make her nice an shiny. Then file/clean the firing pin (the point that makes contact with the battery) a bit, put on some Noalox on the pin and giver her another go.
The RM2 is easy to build and easier to maintain than most anything I have tried -- and I have tried a lot. It was a game changer for me.
As far as atties, the empire mods LR has an excellent reputation as well as the vapage hybrids. Both reasonable price. I have several of the empire mods and...
There are two VV Bottom Feeders on the market - Reo Grand and Bogger Box, both made in the US. I used to have a lot of VV stuff, now I use the Reo (non-vv) and the RM2 Atty with micro coils and it is far better than anything I have tried. I have done most the clearos, rbas, genesis tanks, etc...
