Reo Grand doesn't cut it for Sub Ohm Vaping

So, since you haven't said you used the Noalox I can only assume you didn't. This makes all your data questionable. It's apparent we are not going to reach consensus. I'm not saying that with any other reason than I think its true and I honestly am not bothered by it at all. We discussed...

Reo Grand doesn't cut it for Sub Ohm Vaping

For the most part, I don't disagree with any of your statements above. My disagreement is still why this makes it "usable for sub ohm"? My assertions are: 1. While ohms law is the method to get there, the end result (vapor, th, flavor) is what people judge and they are subjective. 2. You...

Reo Grand doesn't cut it for Sub Ohm Vaping

The buyer paying for return shipping is on the FAQ page. I don't understand why after agreeing to it as part of your purchase you would find it average. Personally, these are always things I check before I buy. I am very into Caveat Emptor. The Reo does work at .5 ohms but just not to your...

Reo Grand doesn't cut it for Sub Ohm Vaping

tomzgreat, I don't see anyone saying your tests were not valid or incorrect, I certainly did not think so. But since you brought it up, did you use the provided Noalox as Robert recommends in his instructions? I ask because this might change the results. The point I was making is that just...

Reo Grand doesn't cut it for Sub Ohm Vaping

tomzgreat, interesting analysis. Appreciate you sharing your insights. I'm not into using micro coils, just never had the desire. It's posts like yours that makes me interested in trying them. There are a couple of things I disagree with in your post. I do hope I'm not misinterpreting...

Don't bother. My kid does better reviews on Rubic's cubes. (at least its fun to watch him solve them in 25 seconds)

Dropped my Grand last night on concrete

The ONLY thing I ever broke dropping a PV (and couldn't fix myself) was a Cherry Vapes drip tip.

Makes me curious, anyone tried getting an accurate reading of a Reo in optimal condition - load/no load? I'd be surprised if it went down that much under his conditions. I gave it a quick shot direct with my multimeter but I think I need to rig something up to get a stable reading - meter...

I finally went ahead and got a REO!!

Goes back to one of my personal preferences for vaping - multiple flavors. This way I can grab and go. Don't forget, 2 of them were to appease please my wife.

Holy cow, .5 ohms at 3.7 is over 27 watts! that's gotta be hot - .9 at 3.7 is about half that.

I finally went ahead and got a REO!!

Oh, ok. In less than a month I received 4 and have two more on the way, so 6. I've got to hold off getting more for awhile! Out of these -- my wife got two of them. Thank the maker for blemished mods! I still use the Provari some. I don't like it as a meter since it is off a little - it...

Oh, Oh. I did it again

The one thing is tanks make it easy to change up flavors. Not that changing in the Reo is really hard but wash, dry, clean/dryburn rba, etc takes time. I keep several (6-12) different flavors on hand. Some I could change the bottle and go but many are not very complementary and it would...

Oh, Oh. I did it again

I kicked mine today. Just a test though. I used some copper foil tape (used on electric guitars). Cut it so it slipped between the coils and put it in without taking off the backing. No changes to the reo at all. Working great so far. What I like about the kick is that I don't have to worry...
