    3 flashes on the Evod is either the 10 second cutoff on a draw, or (if memory serves) it does that when the battery hits half-charge. If it isn't firing, it could be the battery gone bad, but it could also be the center pin in the connection pressed in too far or the topper causing problems.

    Congrats on cutting back on the smoking! What kind of issue are you having? I know it seems like hoops to jump through to get registered, but a lot of forum vets hang around the New Member section to answer questions and help with problems, so you don't have to wait to get the info you need.

    I don't have any Blu cartos on hand to look at, but my guess is that either coil design or filler material is causing a problem. They are designed for a 3.4v battery after all, it's burning filler when you push it higher.

    For the old tank: Are you still using the original coil in it? If so, that's due for replacement. An old coil will make juice taste funny (or weak). The new tank: Did you clean it before you used it? Is it a different resistance than your original tank?
