    I have 2 ithakas and both have the old style nuts. Mine does gurgle sometimes as well. Does anyone know what the threading measurement is? Could I use a regular nut in that size? Sent by my phone

    I tried drilling the cap. No good with a regular drill bit. Maybe if I had a titanium one. I ended up just wedging the wire between a gap I had on the topcap and case, a bit of solder and using the Arctic silver epoxy to hold it in place Sent by my phone
