    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

My Darwin doesn't work anymore either. It still turns on fine, but won't fire anything. It stopped working a few months after I had the battery replaced too. :(

Better range? How so? 3.3v to 4.8v, vs 3.3v to 5v on the MVP... Just because you can set it up to 12w, doesn't mean it will actually do it. It's going to depend on the resistance of the coil, but then we'd also need to know the maximum amp output.

I do prefer cartos, I get more flavor, more vapor, and warmer vapor. But with some of the juices I vape, they don't last more than a day or two. I always had bad luck with carto tanks leaking everywhere, plus most are just too bulky in my opinion. At home I vape Boge cartos, but when out it's...

I'm only advising caution when handling 100+mg/ml nicotine. I regularly mix without gloves myself, but I draw everything up in syringes, just like when mixing medications. There are a number of factors to consider with skin exposure, including the concentration of nicotine, length of exposure...

Be very careful when handling 100+mg/ml nicotine! Nicotine is a potent parasympathomimetic drug, and the LD50 dosage is 0.5-1.0 mg/kg for an adult human. LD50 is the dosage at which 50% of patients exposed will die. Nicotine is readily absorbed through the skin, as well as mucous membranes. So...

Yes, temperature does effect resistance... although I highly doubt any ambient temperature will have a noticeable effect on resistance of the coils we use. But in general with conductors, resistance goes down with cold temperatures, and up with high temperatures. But usually we're taking about...

There are other alkaloids in tobacco aside from nicotine. These other alkaloids have different effects, and a synergy with nicotine. This is why some smokers just don't feel satisfied with vaping. Among them are alkaloids which act as an MAOI (anatabine, norharman and harman), and an analgesic...

You could always try putting a small piece of clear tape over the air holes in the base of the mini PT2. That will tighten up the draw. Try it for a few days, and if you like it better that way, you could probably permanently close them off by filling the holes with a heat resistant epoxy. I...

Theoretically, with variable wattage it doesn't matter what resistance the coil is... except that the MVP maxes out at 5 volts... which means it can't reach higher wattage with higher resistance coils. On my Darwin, I prefer 3Ω coils, but the Darwin can go up to 13 volts. On the MVP, you're...

I wasn't really happy with the iclear, just didn't wick fast enough for me. Had to keep tipping it, and turning it to soak all the wicks after every couple of hits. I'm much happier with the mini PT2 or Boge cartos. Cartos at home, mini PT2 in the car and at work.

I know the Samsung Galaxy Prevail (only two years old) will only charge at 0.7 amps. But yes, no such issues with the MVP 2, works just fine on my 1 amp charger.

You'll probably be better of with the 2Ω. I use 3Ω Boge on my Darwin, and they work great, but on my MVP (pretty much the same as the VV) they're rather anemic. It's because at 3Ω you'll hit the maximum output of 5v at even moderate wattage, while the Darwin goes up to 13v
