    Can't gain experience without doing it =). And yeah they are expensive but, truly versatile so well worth it. A really good friend of mine got me one back when I was 14 and I still have it today 15 years later =). One of my most used tools.

    And for the glue, if your using wood glue, just smear it around with a brush in a thin coat on both sides and after clamping them together take a damp paper towel and wipe off any excess. Or you can always sand it off later as well. Just make sure you get it off before varnishing it.

    buy a dremel, will help with the sanding, not to mention they are extremely useful. besides you don't want scratches all over your exspensive gear due to laziness lol. And that's not bad for your first job. I love wood working. I have built all sorts of boxes and stuff over the years.

    I personally am not big on menthol. Just never cared for the taste honestly. Now peppermint type methol doesn't bother me at all but, analog menthol. . egh. Vanilla I love though, and ice cream, and waffle cones so I'm gonna give it a shot.

    Well I got Call Me Vanilla today. It apparently has menthol in it which I wasn't expecting. As of the moment all I can taste is the menthol so I'm going to let it steep for a week or 2.
