Isn't that charger putting out 2A? While the board should regulate it we're hearing 500-700ma charger is a better choice.

Its not necessary....if they get to 80W and you run a 0.2ohm atty you're right at 20A which stranded 16ga is rated for.....I'm not sure we'll see 80W either

guys....in most cases you can un solder from the opposite side of the board. You can also snip the wires at the board. DO not spend a lot of time with heat on the board. If you are not proficient get somebody to do it for you who is. Either way I recommend snipping them for lowest risk. The...

update: They did increase the output monitoring but do not feel they want to provide exact details which is fine....but this is why we see the battery adjusting. They are removing the limitation as well. Will try to nail down when as soon as they provide it.

Doc I suspect you are right and they are checking the output and adjusting more frequently to maintain it which will be reflected in the battery. I'll try to get the scoop as I'm just guessing but I had this specific discussion with them 3 weeks ago so its curious to see this movement.

perhaps August 8th folks there may be some caveats......you will see a splash that warns this is not a required update.....and a number of other things....of substance the need to change wiring to 16ga and use a battery capable of at least 30A continuous discharge. Also min resistance is...

The YiHi SX350 35W Chip at Varitube

no update guys...they said within this week. All the features they listed will be in there but I believe they are wrestling with a few things....such as as the power increases the stock wiring on the board is not sufficient and would need to be replaced.....comes with 20ga....probably needs...

Any updates Jeff? Thats a little strange Kevinn. I believe most chargers algorithms are designed to +/- 50mV per cell to the 4.2V so its close. But its way better to slightly undercharge and will prolong the battery life as you pointed out. But there's also a current component in the...

yes you nailed it on chip limitation and yes you're clear enough but one question...while it drops in the background its sitting at 45.3 right? and once it hits 45.3 then it starts displaying the drop? We won't get that in for the next update but I'll report it. Update: Couple things I think...
