LOL.....I was going to build a bezel and my wife was at Michael's and found these little picture frames that I guess would hang off a necklace like a charm....I cut off the extra parts and its the exact size. So I used that!!!! She of course thinks it awesome....
alright time for you show me yours and I show you mine :)
This is what I threw together yeterday...I don't know why the pics rotated other than its from my phone
Display....I dunno...I have had far too many zmax units with torn ribbons and they are attached to a foam platform....usually damaged during assembly but pass test and work for awhile and then nothing.
The USB I can get unsoldered but its a fine solder point and closely spaced and not everyone...
I am asking YiHi for 2 things:
1) Wiring schematic that I can put on the site for download or post somewhere
2) CAD drawings for the board so everybody can get dimensions for planning purposes
or whatever they are willing to provide I suppose!
Will of course keep everyone posted on...
Have had a few requests for instructions and a pointed review was left on the site regarding well ... this and that. My 1st thought is if you do not know how to attach the only 3 wires then I'm not sure you should be modding.....seriously. But to be fair it is nice to know for sure and nobody...
Note !!! ....we found a bug during Upgrade that only occurs on 64-bit Windows 8 machines. They will issue a fix to the install program soon but for now you can contact us and we can walk you through a manual file move to correct it.
If you are upgrading and get a Cannot Find File Error...
Hey Baps thanks for coming by! They had sent me a pic....which I can't find ATM but will again :) ...and they circled 3 of them and specifically said 3...so either 1's common or we have to go someplace else. But thats the group you're pointing out.
and the SX350 improves on that vewdew! When you get into the menu you will find there are 5 presets named M1 thru M5. You jump to each preset by leaning it to the left. To set a preset you 1st select 1 of them...lets say M1 and its 5W.....lets say we want M1 to be 8W....lean it to the right...
there are more....don't do anything with them please but AFTER the software upgrade. Above the usb connections there are 3 small points....that is what they showed me....its not going to be a big lug...small pin outs on the edge of the board. Lets all just wait until they do it for us please.
hey guys I'm confused :) ...... In its current design state there is only 1 button for all adjustments. 5 clicks to turn it on, 5 clicks to get into menu and then gravity for adjust, button to move thru menu.
In a future software release...maybe a month it will open up the ability to add 2...
We've added upgrade instructions and links to the files to the site page. This 1st upgrade is to 35W. More are in the works. A few of the folks here have already done it and can share how simple and fast it is.
Authentic YiHi SX350 35W Chip!
Always research and build the safest way. I'm not in a position to understand your complete design. The chip has built in safety measures such as short circuit, reverse polarity, low resistance etc. As is you do not necessarily need fuses....but extra is never a bad thing. I'm sure there's a...
Hey Porter....thanks for the questions. The sample order we had required the user to attach the micro USB board...but they have agreed to solder it for us now starting with this batch....less chances for those of us with fat fingers to have to touch the actual board. Now we just have output...
