Congrats on the vaporversary! WIsh you bought the batts from us too :) But check your email. Everything went out including a pile of Sxmini's....none to Egypt though so I assume its going to a friend or you're not presently in Cairo!
honestly in person they all look nice. But the Black face with silver is probably going to be most popular and I really like the gold face with silver.....total class and will be in my personal stable :)
Folks we decided to go ahead and put up a pre-sale due to increased interest and requests. Further YiHi cannot prevent vendors from doing so and therefore we felt it necessary to offer the pre-sale to our customer base as well. We are not fans of this approach given Mid to Late March...
Not on the current mod. The Next release in March/April will be the M class and will be 3-5 colors...very sharp.....they are just deciding on which to keep.
considering YiHi is not taking pre-orders, nor a major distributor who was there,...... yet a vendor taking them is pretty irresponsible. We're talking 1...count them 1.....unit with temp control as of this week and its not a finished product.
I'm not worried about the finished product but I...
Exactly the issue Somun....but he thinks he can do it. From what I could get from him its calculating real-time and then feeding back your set point for limiting.....which means the coefficient difference is the challenge. I can tell you whenever there was down time I'd find him winding coils...
I want to add that the finish is awesome. They listened to all the feedback. Also I think I got them to understand the need to switch to a coarse thread on the battery cap and they agreed. Lets see if that makes it in as well :) They actually improved on the ergonomics. The sleeve is now...
Hey guys....I will be posting some pics up later.... But I had hands on time with the temp control J chip and a lot of discussions over the last 2 days. As expected the HOW is not going to be explained other than I know he has an on-board MCU of some sort processing it.
Its definitely a...
Hey there Nova....just spent 2 days with them helping out at their booth. Yes I personally played with the temp control. The march release will be whats called the M class SXmini with Joule and temp control. The M class is a refinement on the SXmini mod, new mold with attention to surface...
Mast gave you an epiphany?
Rats now it's going to his head :)
I'm awaiting to have dinner with them tonight and the next 2 days with them the TPC convention. Will report anything I learn of course....
I'm sure they will be keeping it close to the vest but I'm not shy and will ask and see what I can find out....can't hurt.
We're all just guessing anyhow.... :)
I think their use of Joule is on a couple of fronts....one is in relation to power but as to temperature its called Joule Heating....from google:
Joule heating is the generation of heat by passing an electric current through a metal. Also known as resistance heating, it simulates heating in...
somewhere along the line I heard thermistor technology on board but also tables with empirical data were involved......perhaps the combo is how it gets done.
Gotta love the project lists that never get started! :)
Unfortunately folks I'm being told the J board is new and the functionality will not be a flash upgrade.. . New components as I suspected. But let's let this play out.
Dejay one thing we gave learned is that Yihi gives us products that work so I'm not leary of anything. What is it you think...
Thanks chomper... Just to clarify it means we printed the label... The order will go out with today's shipments of course. We print pack a ship everything from prior evening and morning 1st and then up until noon and it all goes out together. Thanks for the kudos!
Guys they're 2 months away from anything. I will be with them next week for 2 days and will have opportunities to find out more. Emailing does help...please be polite :) They do listen to customer feedback as you all know. I'm just not convinced the board has the needed components on it...
